In its latest update on Sunday morning, the university’s Center for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE) revealed that the current global cases, death toll and immunization counts stand at 228,112,318, 4,685,130 and 5,883,069,259, respectively. According to CSSE, the US continues to be the most affected country in the world with the highest number of cases and deaths at 42,048,376 and 673,464 respectively.
India ranks second in terms of corona infection with 33,417,390 cases. According to the CSSE data, the other most affected countries with more than 3 million cases are Brazil (21,230,325), UK (7,435,493), Russia (7,150,244), France (7,037,931), Turkey (6,794,670), Iran (5,408,860), Argentina (5,238,610), Colombia (4,939,251), Spain (4,929,546), Italy (4,632,275), Indonesia (4,188,529), Germany (4,144,165) and Mexico (3,552,983).
Countries that have crossed the death toll of more than 100,000. Among them are Brazil (590,508), India (444,529), Mexico (270,538), Peru (198,948), Russia (193,891), Indonesia (140,323), UK (135,478), Italy (130,284), Colombia (125,860), Iran (116,791) , France (116,662) and Argentina (114,367).
