Meanwhile, the national capital Delhi witnessed a rise in the minimum temperature on Thursday due to light rain. Light rain has also been predicted in Delhi on Friday. According to the Meteorological Department, a fresh Western Disturbance is occurring, which is likely to affect the Western Himalayan region (Jammu, Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand) from the night of March 5.

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy rain in many parts of Arunachal Pradesh on March 5. Along with this, there may be hailstorms and thunderstorms in Assam and Meghalaya. The Meteorological Department has forecast the maximum temperature to be above normal in many parts of the country. However, there are indications of no hot winds for the next 4-5 days.

The Meteorological Department said that due to western disturbances, the western Himalayan region may be affected from March 5 night. Due to which rain can occur in many parts of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Also, on March 7, there is a possibility of thunderstorm in Punjab, North Haryana, Chandigarh and West Uttar Pradesh.

Not only this, there is a possibility of thunderstorms with heavy rains during the next 4-5 days in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura.

Light rain in Delhi
Delhi received light rain on Thursday morning due to a fresh western disturbance. Western Disturbance has affected Northwest India. India Meteorological Department gave this information. An official of the department said that the minimum temperature in the city has increased due to cloudy sky. The minimum temperature in the capital was recorded at 12.4 degrees Celsius, which is four degrees Celsius above normal. The Safdarjung observatory recorded 0.5 mm of rain till 8 am, while the Lodhi Road weather station recorded 0.2 mm of rain. There is a possibility of light rain on Friday as well. The minimum temperature is likely to remain normal for the next three days.
