09:20 am: India’s para table tennis player Bhavnaben Patel has reached the quarterfinals of the Tokyo Paralympic Women’s Table Tennis Class-4 event. Bhawna defeated Brazil’s Joyce de Olivira 12-10, 13-11, 11-6 in straight sets. She will now face Serbia’s Borislava Paris Renkovic in the quarterfinals.
08: 25 AM: India’s female para athlete archer Jyoti Baliyan has given her best performance of the season. Balian finished 15th in the women’s individual compound event ranking round. He scored 671.

08:00 AM: Sonalben Patel, India’s women’s para table tennis player, crashed out of class 3 para table tennis events on Friday on the third day of the Tokyo Paralympic Games. Patel could not qualify for Round 16. Patel was picked up by Lee Mi Gyu of South Korea.
