The Tennis Federation of India has confirmed this to AITA. Hailing from Jhajjar in Haryana, Nagal’s ranking was 144 on June 14, which was the basis for direct entry into the Tokyo Olympics. Bopanna and Divij have a combined ranking of 113 and they are fifth in the list of substitutes. With Nagal’s play, India can also field a team in mixed doubles. Right now Ankita Raina and Sania Mirza are playing women’s doubles.
