Digital Desk, Kampala. Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni assured citizens on Sunday that the perpetrators of last night’s bombings in the capital Kampala would be brought to justice. Museveni tweeted, “This sounds like a terrorist act but we will catch the perpetrators.” People should not be afraid, we will defeat this crime like we have defeated all other crimes. The president said that police are at the scene in the Kampala suburb of Komaboga and will provide more information later as well as issue guidelines on how to deal with potential terrorist threats, Xinhua news agency reported. Museveni said information received suggests that three men dropped a polythene bag, which later exploded, killing one person and injuring five others. The blast comes days after the British and French embassies issued a terror attack warning to their citizens.
