Thailand Open: Star shuttler Saina Nehwal lost in the second round, out of the tournament

Digital Desk, Bangkok. India’s star shuttler Saina Nehwal has been eliminated from the Thailand Open 2020. In the women’s singles, she was defeated by Busan Ongamberangfan of Thailand 23-21, 14-21, 16-21 in the second round. Nehwal won the first game 23-21 at the start of the game.

In the second game, Busanan outplayed Nehwal 21-14, playing well. Then in the third game, Saina looked somewhat tired and was eliminated from the tournament, losing 14-21.

Explain that Saina is ranked 20th in the world rankings. He defeated Malaysia’s Selvadareya Kisona in the first round on Wednesday. Saina won 21-15 21-15 in a 36-minute match.

Earlier, Kidambi Srikanth announced on social media just before his match on Thursday that he decided to opt out of the tournament due to a muscle strain.

Earlier in the day, Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty lost 19-21, 17-21 to Mohammad Ahsan and Hendra Setiawan in 34 minutes in men’s doubles.
