Rohit Sharma will play third test
Rohit Sharma may be back in the playing 11 in the third Test. Indian team opener Mayank Agarwal has scored just 31 runs in two Tests at an average of 7.75 and middle-order batsman Hanuma Vihari has also not performed well. Vihari has been able to score only 45 runs in three innings at an average of 15. In such a situation, Rohit Sharma can replace any of them in the next Test. If Mayank Agarwal drops from the team, then Rohit will have to take responsibility for the opening. On the other hand, if Vihari is dropped from playing 11, Rohit will bat at number five. However, former Indian captain Sunil Gavaskar has advocated the opening of Rohit Sharma.
