Robin Uthappa’s big statement, said- Mahendra Singh wants to win IPL trophy for Dhoni

Robin Uthappa, who joined the Chennai Super Kings team for IPL 2021, was seen wearing a yellow jersey for the first time. Uthappa posted a special video on his Instagram saying that he wanted to win this trophy once for Mahendra Singh Dhoni before he said goodbye to the IPL. Uthappa was traded by the Chennai team to the Rajasthan Royals and will be seen playing under Dhoni’s captaincy in the 14th season of the Indian Premier League.

CSK’s team can replace Robin Uthappa as an opener in place of Shane Watson. Uthappa Rituraj can be seen opening for the team along with Gaikwad. Uthappa said in his video, ‘First of all, Hello Chennai, how are you all? First of all, I want to thank all the fans of CSK, who have given me a tremendous welcome in the last few weeks. Thank you for your love and support. It was a wish that has been fulfilled. I wished that I could play with Dhoni again and win the tournament before he retired. So getting a chance to play for CSK is a blessing for me.

Apart from Uthappa Dhoni, Suresh has also played a lot of cricket with Raina and Ambati Rayudu. Talking on this, he said, “Not only this, I am going to play with many more players with whom I have grown up. Ambati Rayudu, Suresh Raina. I am playing with them from under-17s. So I am very happy that I am a part of CSK. I will work hard and do well when I get a chance. Uthappa’s last season was nothing special and he struggled for runs.
