For four consecutive days, the PM has been reviewing different ministries.
Why the cabinet change?
Amidst the speculation of cabinet expansion, questions are also being raised that what is the need for reshuffle or expansion right now. The biggest answer to this is the assembly elections of Uttar Pradesh. In fact, in a few months, the assembly elections are to be held in Uttar Pradesh. Before that, major changes are also proposed in the UP cabinet. Cabinet expansion will happen very soon in UP to solve caste and party equations. In the same episode, this work will also be done at the national level. The speedy review going on in the last few days. In view of this, it is being expressed that the leaders associated with UP can get more place in the Modi cabinet.
These faces can be seen!
Before the UP elections, Union Home Minister Amit Shah himself has met the leaders of many regional parties of UP separately. Apna Dal’s Anupriya Patel is also included in these leaders. Anupriya has previously worked in the Modi cabinet as a Minister of State for Health. But the second time he did not get this chance. Now it is expected that Anupriya Patel can be a part of Modi cabinet. Jyotiraditya Scindia, who reached Rajya Sabha from the quota of Madhya Pradesh, is also being told as minister in waiting. It is expected that he too may be assigned a ministry in this expansion. Earlier, he had been a part of the cabinet in the UPA government.
