Varanasi: Prime minister Narendra Modi On December 23, besides laying the foundation stone of Banas Dairy of Banaskantha District Milk Producers Association Limited of Gujarat at Karkhianv in Varanasi, he will give gifts of various schemes costing Rs 2100 crore to the district. BJP Metropolitan President Vidyasagar Rai told today that the Prime Minister will gift 25 projects worth 2100 crores to Kashi during his visit. This includes laying the foundation stone of a dairy plant in Karkhianv, parking at Beniyabagh and the inauguration of integrated surveillance system among other works.

Banas Dairy Chairman Shankarbhai Choudhary said that on this occasion, Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Will also be present. Chowdhary said that this project will benefit the farmers of 1000 villages of Varanasi, Jaunpur, Machlishahr, Chandauli, Bhadohi, Ghazipur, Mirzapur and Azamgarh. Farmers will get a price of 8000 to 10,000 rupees per month for their milk. He said that 750 people are likely to get direct employment in this plant, 2350 people in allied works and about 10,000 families will get employment in the village.

PM to transfer 35 crores to milk producers’ bank accounts

A statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) said that during this visit, Modi will lay the foundation stone of “Banas Dairy Sankul” in an effort to strengthen the rural economy and help the farmers of the region. The Prime Minister will transfer a bonus of about Rs 35 crore online to the bank accounts of more than 1.7 lakh milk producers associated with Banas Dairy. The company will continue to give bonus to farmers and farmers out of its profits.

The Prime Minister will also inaugurate several urban development projects in Varanasi, including six projects for redevelopment of wards of Old Kashi, parking and parks in Beniyabagh, beautification of two ponds, sewage treatment plant at Ramna village and upgraded at 720 places under Smart City Mission. Includes provision of surveillance cameras.
