Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Siddharthnagar on October 25 and will inaugurate seven newly built medical colleges of Uttar Pradesh from here. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath gave this information to the journalists here on Saturday. He had reached Siddharthnagar district headquarters today to take stock of the preparations for Modi’s arrival in Siddharthnagar on October 25. He inspected the newly constructed Medical College building and its premises and held a meeting with the public representatives and officials of the district regarding the preparations for the arrival of the Prime Minister.
After the meeting that lasted for about half an hour, Yogi told reporters, “Today I have come here to review the preparations on the arrival of the Prime Minister. A chain of medical colleges has been started in Uttar Pradesh and the newly constructed medical colleges in seven districts of the state-Siddharthnagar, Deoria, Mirzapur, Etah, Hardoi, Ghazipur and Pratapgarh (Repeat) Pratapgarh have been recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI). He told that on October 25, Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate these seven medical colleges from Siddharthnagar and all its preparations have been completed here.
He told that apart from the neighboring districts, people of neighboring country Nepal will also be benefited from the medical college of Siddharthnagar. He said that this medical college would be named after the first state president of Bharatiya Janata Party, Madhav Prasad Tripathi alias Madhav Babu. Madhav Babu was a resident of Bansi assembly constituency of Siddharthnagar district.
