Petrol Diesel Price: Petrol and diesel prices rise for third consecutive day, know today’s rates

new Delhi. Petrol and diesel prices have increased for the third consecutive day. On Sunday, petrol became 8 paise per liter and diesel 19 paise per liter more expensive. Crude oil prices are going up in the international market, due to which, after about two months, the price hike of fuel has started again.

Petrol price in Delhi increased by 8 paise to Rs 81.46 per liter and diesel by 19 paise to Rs 71.07 per liter, as per the price hiatus of petroleum marketing companies.

Public sector petroleum companies have resumed fuel price hike since Friday. Petrol price has been increased by 40 paise per liter and diesel by 61 paise per liter in three days. Earlier, petrol prices had not been revised since 22 September.

There was no change in diesel prices from October 2. Public sector petroleum marketing companies Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), Bharat Petroleum Corporation (BPCL) and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation (HPCL) revise fuel prices internationally based on crude oil benchmark prices and foreign currency exchange rates.
