New AIIMS in Jharkhand: Preparation to open AIIMS in Ranchi also, report sought after marking land

Ranchi. Preparations have been started to open AIIMS in Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand. In this regard, the Health Secretary has been asked to mark the land. In a letter to the Health Secretary, the Director of Industries of the state said that the Prime Minister’s Office is contemplating to open AIIMS in Ranchi. In such a situation, the land for this should be marked and informed about it. The director of industries of the state says that after the land is marked, further process will be started.

Let us inform that Ranchi MP Sanjay Seth had demanded Prime Minister Narendra Modi to open AIIMS in Ranchi. He told the Prime Minister that Ranchi is the capital of Jharkhand. Due to this a large number of people from all over the state come here for treatment. Apart from this, people from the surrounding states of Jharkhand also come to Ranchi for treatment. AIMS is necessary for citizens to get better treatment in Ranchi at less cost.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken the demand of MP Sanjay Seth seriously. In view of this, the exercise of opening AIIMS in the state capital Ranchi has been intensified. Now it is up to the Health Department of Jharkhand that in how much time the land will be earmarked for AIIMS. On completion of this process, further action will be taken on opening of AIIMS in Ranchi.

If AIMS opens in Ranchi, then it will be the second AIIMS in Jharkhand. Earlier AIMS has been opened in Deoghar, where treatment is also being done. It was inaugurated in the same year. Its construction cost about Rs 1100 crore. Right now 200 patients are being treated here every day. Deoghar AIIMS is the 13th AIIMS in the country.
