More than 1.4 million deaths due to corona infection worldwide

Washington Globally, the total number of coronavirus cases has reached 6.44 million, while deaths from infections have increased to more than 14.9 million. This information was given by Johns Hopkins University on Thursday.

The University’s Center for System Science and Engineering (CSSE) revealed in its latest update on Thursday that global cases have currently risen to 64,447,657 and death toll to 1,491,559.

According to CSSE, the US is the most affected country by Kovid-19 in the world, with 13,916,543 cases and 273,316 deaths recorded. India ranks second with 9,499,413 cases after the US in terms of Kovid cases, while the death toll in the country has risen to 138,122.

According to CSSE, other countries with more than a million cases are Brazil (6,436,650), Russia (2,327,105), France (2,275,677), Spain (1,665,775), Britain (1,663,467), Italy (1,641,610), Argentina (1,440,103), Colombia (1,334,089) ), Mexico (1,133,613), Germany (1,106,074) and Poland (1,013,747).

Brazil is second only to the US with 174,515 deaths in cases of Kovid deaths. The countries with more than 20,000 deaths were Mexico (107,565), Britain (59,796), Italy (57,045), France (52,822), Iran (48,990), Spain (45,784), Russia (40,630), Argentina (39,156), Colombia. (37,117), Peru (35,966) and South Africa (21,709).
