Madhya Pradesh: Lover hurt in love commits suicide by killing three people including girl

A 22-year-old man, who sustained injuries in a one-sided love affair, allegedly shot dead three people, including a young woman, on Saturday and later shot himself. Inspector Sunil Lata, in-charge of Amla police station, said that the incident took place at around 2 pm in Amla town, about 30 km from the district headquarters. Where the accused Bhanu Thakur entered the house of a 25-year-old girl with two pistols and opened indiscriminate fire there. The officer said that Thakur shot dead the young woman present in the house, her 22-year-old cousin and 18-year-old neighbor and later committed suicide by shooting himself.

According to the police, the family members of the girl had lodged a complaint against Thakur for stalking and molesting the girl. After this, the police called Thakur to the police station during the day and refused to go near the girl. The officer said that after leaving the police station, the accused went to the girl’s house and closed the door and opened fire inside. The accused also took a video and uploaded it on Facebook and tagged the police in it.

In the video, Thakur can be heard saying that he holds himself responsible for the act and apologizes to his family. Lata told that Thakur also named Rakesh Harode (27) who had provided the pistol to her. Harode has been arrested by the police. The matter is being investigated.
