Kremlin said Putin and Biden will hold talks on Thursday

Digital Desk, Moscow. There will be a phone conversation between Russian President Vladimir Putin and his American counterpart Joe Biden on Thursday. The Kremlin has confirmed this. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed this, but did not disclose the topics of discussion, Xinhua news agency reported.

On December 7, Putin and Biden met via video link and their focus was on the situation in Ukraine. After the talks, Russia sent a draft agreement to NATO and the US to consider a draft treaty on security guarantees in Europe for Western countries. Putin and Biden held their first face-to-face summit in Geneva in June, with little success in improving bilateral ties.
