In order to prevent accidents in the tourist places of Bastar, Jagdalpur district administration has started performing Kavayad. Under which the district administration will train and deploy divers and youths in Bastar tourist places especially Chitrakote and Tirathgarh Waterfall. Actually, accidents have been happening at these tourist places continuously for the past few years. When tourists reach here, serious accidents are happening due to their negligence. Due to which many people have lost their lives. A trainee doctor posted at the Dimrapal Medical College, a fortnight ago, along with some of his friends, had gone to Chitrakote water. During this time, while trekking from the high mountains, the doctor died after slipping his foot and falling in the water fall. Many such incidents are happening continuously in the last few years.

If you look at the figures of the last two years, around a dozen people have died either by taking a selfie in the Danger Zone on the banks of the water fall or in the slippery places near the water’s edge. To prevent such incidents happening continuously, News18 had given attention to the district administration. On which two officers were called by the district administration in the collectorate of Jagdalpur two days ago. In this meeting, it has been decided that local youths should be deployed in these tourist spots with a view to employing divers and some youths of Panchayat group.

There will be a break on incidents like thisYouths who have received diving training will be stationed at Chitrakote and Tirathgarh water falls and whenever such accidents happen they will save the drowning people. In addition, tourists coming for trekking in tourist centers will be asked to trek in the path of youth who have taken training. For this, the trainer, they will make the people trekking for a limited fee. Due to this, where the youth will get some employment at the local level, then such incidents will be stopped. Apart from this, red ribbins will be installed at these places to determine the line of the Deser Zone so that people do not cross the Danger Zone while walking in water falls like Chitrakote and Tirathgarh. Some local women will also be deployed at these places with the help of local police administration.
