While the prices of LPG cylinders were increased on Monday morning, the prices of CNG and PNG in Delhi-NCR have been increased in the evening. An increase in the prices of CNG-PNG was announced by the official announcement by IGL.
The hike in CNG and PNG prices in the late evening gave a major blow to the people of Delhi-NCR after the hike in LPG, Petrol and Diesel prices on 1 March 2021. Indraprastha Gas Limited on Monday officially announced the hike in CNG and PNG prices in the capital Delhi-NCR.
The new rates will be applicable from 6 am on Tuesday, 2 March 2021. While IGL increased the price of CNG by 70 paise, it increased the price of PNG by 91 paise. After this rally, the price of CNG in Delhi reached Rs 43.40 per kg from 6 am on Tuesday. In the NCR, it will be 49.08 per kilogram.
Apart from CNG, the new rates of PNG will increase to 28.42 per standard cubic meter from 6 am on Tuesday. Let us tell you that on March 1, the price of LPG in the morning was increased by 25 rupees. This was the fourth increase since February. In February alone, the price of LPG was increased three times.
