The Indian Air Force was formed on 8 October 1932. According to the official website of the Indian Air Force, the Indian Air Force aircraft made its first flight on 1 April 1935. At that time it had 6 officers trained by the RAF and 19 air soldiers. Let me tell you that the Indian Air Force was established as a unit of the British Empire Air Force. The word Royal was added to its name during World War II but was removed in 1950 after independence.
