When India take on England in the fourth Test on Thursday, all eyes will once again be on Virat Kohli. Kohli may have hit a fifty in the last innings but he could not convert his innings into a century. The reason for this is his struggle against moving balls. Former India batting coach Sanjay Bangar feels skipper Virat Kohli hasn’t shown the same patience against England bowlers. Kohli is playing such balls which should not be played.
Speaking in a new video uploaded to Aakash Chopra’s YouTube channel, Bangar said, “As far as I am concerned, it is that Virat Kohli has not shown the patience that the England bowlers have shown against him. That’s the only difference.’ He further said that he has not been out while defending many times. He is out while going towards the ball. If you look at the way he got out in 2014, he didn’t get out while driving as many times as he got out while defending.

He further said, ‘I think he is playing balls going towards the sixth or seventh stump, which does not need to be played. He needs to check his position when the ball is being missed. The series is currently leading 1-1. All eyes will be on how India’s middle order performs after the loss in the Oval Test.
