IND vs AUS Women: Indian players upset in government quarantine center, life imprisoned in ‘small rooms’

New Delhi. The Indian Women’s Cricket Team has reached Australia for ODI, T20 and Test series. Here he has to stay at the Government Quarantine Center in Brisbane for 14 days. Now only 4 days of isolation have passed that its effect is beginning to be seen on the Indian players. The rooms where they have been accommodated are very small. Because of this, players are able to do only light exercises.

A BCCI official told news agency PTI that the rooms at the Quarantine Center in Brisbane are very small. With great difficulty you can move around in the room. You can’t do much training in it. However, the good thing is that like Britain, there are no security personnel standing outside the room of the Quarantine Center here. Nevertheless, the rules of quarantine here are quite strict.

He said that the food being served here is fine and the menu is changing every day. But staying for 2 weeks in a small room would be quite a challenge.

The schedule of the series also changed due to Corona
In Britain, players were allowed to practice in the first week of Quarantine. Because the Indian team was in isolation in a hotel in Mumbai for 2 weeks before coming to England. The women’s team reached Brisbane on Monday to play 3 ODIs, a pink-ball test and 3 T20 matches on this Australia tour.

The schedule of the series has also changed due to restrictions related to Kovid-19 in Sydney, Perth and Melbourne. Now all matches will be played in Queensland and the series will start on 21 September with a delay of two days instead of 19 September. Earlier these matches were to be played in Sydney, Perth and Melbourne.
