Not only this, the corona infection has been confirmed in a total of 12 people including 6 players and one coach of the Jharkhand team. After this news, the entire district administration and the organizing body of the tournament was stirred up and the Astroturf Stadium was sealed. The players have been ordered for sanitization, isolating them. The district administration has declared the Astroturf Stadium as a containment zone while holding an emergency meeting. Deputy Commissioner Sushant Gaurav has appealed everyone to take precaution. At present, players of all teams coming to Simdega are being investigated. The tournament has been postponed as a precaution. Right now the number of corona patients is expected to increase.

Players also hit Corona in Patiala and Bengaluru
The Sports Authority of India on Wednesday informed that 30 players and support staff have come to Kovid-19 positive in 741 precautionary tests conducted at National Centers of Excellence in Patiala and Bengaluru.
