Seoul. Football’s global body FIFA has initiated disciplinary action against Lionel Messi’s Argentina and Neymar’s Brazil (Argentina vs Brazil) team. The Brazilian health officials had come to the field to know the status of the players’ isolation, after which the World Cup qualifier match between the two teams had to be postponed and in view of this incident, FIFA has taken this step.
FIFA did not provide any information about the alleged breach of the rule, citing ongoing legal action, and did not comment on whether it, along with South American federation CONMEBOL, was partly responsible for the lapse that led to Sunday. The match had to be postponed after seven minutes of play.

Argentine players accused of breaking the rules
FIFA has not disclosed which rules it is investigating against the football federations of Argentina and Brazil for violations. Four players playing in Argentina’s English Premier League have been accused of breaking the segregation rules in Sao Paulo. They are also accused of lying in the Corona virus manifesto in Brazil that they were in the UK during the last 14 days, which has been placed on the red list due to rising Kovid-19 cases.
