Digital Desk, Islamabad. The cases of dengue are increasing continuously in Pakistan and in the last 24 hours 832 additional people have been infected with corona in different areas of the country. According to the report of the news agency Xinhua, new cases have been found in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab as well as in the capital Islamabad. District Health Officer Zaim Zia told local media, in Islamabad, 118 new cases of corona were reported in the last 24 hours, of which 79 were reported in the suburbs, taking the total number of cases in the city to 2,721.

Local media said 168 more dengue cases were detected in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of infections in the province to 4,672. Five people have died due to this disease in the state and 214 patients are currently hospitalized. Meanwhile, Punjab recorded 546 more dengue cases, 361 of them in the provincial capital Lahore, a health official told local media. According to official figures, the total number of dengue cases in the entire province has risen to 9,491, of which Lahore alone has reported 6,294 cases. To prevent the spread of this disease, the Pakistani government is taking special steps on dengue hotspots.
