Meanwhile, it has been decided to dissolve the measures in six of the 12 prefectures under emergency, which are the prefectures of Toyama, Yamanashi, Ehime, Kochi, Saga, Nagasaki, while the restrictions in six other prefectures will remain in effect until September 30. . In the latest version of the anti-virus measures, 19 prefectures, including Tokyo and western Osaka, will be in a state of emergency, as will eight prefectures in a quasi state of emergency.
All the measures will be effective from 30 September. Under a state of emergency, restaurants and bars serving liquor or offering karao services are asked to close during this period, while the government will provide funds for compensation.
