Kovid-19 has killed 496 patients in the country in the last 24 hours, after which the total number of deaths has increased to 1,22,607. Of the total cases, 5,61,908 are currently active and 75,44,798 patients have been discharged from the hospital after treatment. According to data from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the recovery rate in the country is 91.68 percent and the death rate is 1.49 percent.
Maharashtra remains the most affected state by a coronavirus. So far, 16,83,775 cases have been registered and 44,024 patients have died. It is followed by Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, and Delhi in terms of infection.
