Beijing: In China’s provinces where the rate of Kovid-19 infection is high, people have been banned from coming to the capital Beijing. Apart from this, Beijing has taken several steps to strengthen the management of personnel returning from areas with comparatively high infection rates.
According to the news of the state-run Global Times, a ban has been imposed on the purchase of railway and plane tickets for such people. According to the news, railway or plane tickets will not be given to people in medium or high risk areas or those planning to return to Beijing through such places.
Apart from this, if they want to come to the Chinese capital by road, they will be asked to go back. In many cities of China including Wuhan, there has been an increase in the cases of infection of the delta form of the corona virus.
The Global Times reported that the ‘health code’ of those still in moderate and high-risk areas would be changed to ‘yellow’ and those who did not have a ‘green’ health code would be sent to Beijing. Railway or plane tickets will not be allowed to be taken.
The yellow health code will be turned green only when the medium and high risk areas fall under the category of low risk areas or when travelers do not have a travel history of 14 days to those areas.
According to the country’s National Health Commission, about 150 cases of corona virus infection were reported in several provinces on the mainland of China on Saturday.
