Brother and maternal uncle raped two sisters several times, the victim forced to leave the house

Maharashtra: 10 people, including family members, have been arrested for raping two teenage sisters in Latur district of Maharashtra. Police gave this information on Monday. The officer said that both the sisters left the house fed up with the harassment of their maternal uncle and went to Pune.

10 people arrested

Assistant police inspector Deepali Geete said that the two sisters lodged a complaint of rape on December 5 at MIDC and Gaetgaon police station following which 10 people were arrested. The accused include the elder sister’s husband and family members, against whom an FIR has been registered under sections of child marriage and rape, the official said. Police said that the matter is being investigated. The guilty will not be spared under any circumstances.
