Mumbai. Amitabh Bachchan, who has lent his baritone to poetry by Sahir Ludhianvi and Javed Akhtar in classics like ‘Kabhi Kabhi’ and ‘Silsila’, will recite a poem written by director Rumi Jaffrey for his upcoming film ‘Chehre’. The actors will shoot for it on Monday. Producer Anand Pandit said that Shekhar Ravjiani has composed the tune beautifully. Now Amit ji will give his unmatched voice and will add another dimension to the track. It is a song in an action sequence, a close-up, which he has to hum.

He said that I am looking forward to see how he presents the poem as it is going to be a once in a lifetime experience.

He also praised the music and said that with the theme of the film, its suspense and mystical element, Amit ji will now add his own magic to it.

‘Chehre’ is a mystery thriller directed by Rumi Jaffrey and also stars Emraan Hashmi, Annu Kapoor, Krystle D’Souza, Dhritiman Chatterjee, Raghubir Yadav, Siddhant Kapoor and Rhea Chakraborty. (IANS)
