Here the 3D version of the film is seeing a slight edge over the 2D, with around 25-30% shows in the ‘fast-filling’ range, which is a good figure in terms of advance bookings.
Here the bookings for Bell Bottom are showing average. Not a single show has reached the ‘fast filling’ range here. However, it is expected that the situation will improve on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Unlike Delhi, the 2D version is currently performing better in Hyderabad. Although it is just 5-10% with 3D. It can be considered a good start amidst the current situation. However, even here at present no show has reached the ‘fast filling’ range.
Ahmedabad has a Bangalore-like situation with none of the shows going to orange (fast filling) yet, but looks like bookings will be faster from today. There are still three days left for the release. Obviously, a day before the release, we will get a clear picture of how important an advance booking will play in the post-pandemic situation.
Akshay Kumar’s films do good business in Chandigarh. So it will be interesting to see how things change here for Bell Bottom in the coming days. At present, advance booking here is average.
Kolkata has emerged as the best performing city in Bell Bottom Advance Booking. With about 50-55% fast-filling shows in both 2D and 3D versions, it takes us back to the pre-pandemic days. It’s a treat to see so many shows filling up, at least in one of the big cities.
