BCCI President Sourav Ganguly gave a big update on Wriddhiman Saha’s injury, how long will he be fit

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Saurabh Ganguly expects wicketkeeper batsman Wriddhiman Saha to recover from an injury ahead of the upcoming four-match Test series against Australia. The four-match Test series begins on 17 December under the Border-Gavaskar Trophy between India and Australia. Saha is the first choice wicketkeeper in the Test team. Saha suffered a hamstring injury to both feet during the recently concluded IPL.

The BCCI had last week called for a further decision on Saha’s availability for the Test series against Australia. Saha left Dubai with the Indian team in this tour. Ganguly, while speaking to the Week, denied that the board was playing with the players’ injuries.

He said that I believe that people do not know how BCCI works. The BCCI trainers, physio and Saha are well aware that they both have hamstring injuries. Saha went to Australia because he would probably be fit by the Test series. He is not part of the ODI and T20 teams.
