Apple is planning to launch a foldable smartphone. However, Apple has not yet shared any details about this iPhone. But many rumors and leaked reports have come to the fore regarding this foldable smartphone. Now, a report by analyst Ross Young suggests that the company is not going to launch the foldable iPhone until 2023, but it may knock in 2024.

According to previous reports by Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the company is working on a foldable iPhone with 8-inch flexible OLED display. Several reports also suggest that the company is working with LG Display for a foldable device. It is also said that Apple’s first foldable smartphone will sport a clamshell design similar to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 that the company launched this year. Rumors also suggest that the company will be adding a stylus with the device. Along with this, it is also said that Apple is working on using treated ceramic shield glass for the foldable iPhone which is best for folding and unfolding.

Samsung Display is one of the largest suppliers of OLED panels for iPhones. It is also expected that Apple may tie up with the Korean tech giant for its first foldable device. According to the Times of India news, Apple has also reportedly got a patent for an all-glass device approved by the USPTO (United States Patent and Trademark Office).
