The State Department has also said that it has not taken steps to prosecute terrorist masters like Jaish-e-Mohammed founder Masood Azhar and Lashkar’s Sajid Mir, who were the masterminds of the 2008 Mumbai attacks.

‘Increase in terrorist incidents in Pakistan’

In its report, the US State Department has also mentioned some major terrorist incidents in Pakistan in 2020. These include the January 10 attack on a mosque in Quetta and the June attack on the Pakistan Stock Exchange in Karachi. US and Pakistan relations strained
Let us tell you that these days relations between America and Pakistan are also getting tense, and the main reason for this is believed to be China. Recently, Pakistan had decided not to attend the summit on democracy organized by the US. The special thing is that Pakistan took this decision after a telephonic conversation with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and Shah Mahmood Qureshi. The US had invited 110 countries to participate in the conference. It is believed that Pakistan decided not to participate in the conference under pressure from China.
