Maharashtra Coronavirus Update: 5092 new cases of Coronavirus infection were reported in Maharashtra on Sunday, taking the total number of infected people in the state to 17,19,858. This information was given by the Health Department. The department said that 110 more people died due to the virus, taking the total number of dead to 45,250. The department said in a statement that 8232 patients were discharged after recovering from the disease during the day, taking the number of people to be cured to 15,77,322. The recovery rate of the coronavirus in Maharashtra is 91.71 percent, while the death rate is 2.63 percent.
7,745 new cases of Corona reported so far in Delhi
Presently 96,372 patients are under treatment in the state. It was told in the statement that so far 94,40,535 people have been investigated across the state. Of these, 62,004 samples were tested on Sunday. In Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR), 1771 cases were reported and 40 people died. With this, the total number of cases in MMR has gone up to 5,96,523 and the number of dead has reached 18,056. MMR includes Mumbai and its satellite cities.
On Sunday, 1003 new cases were reported in the Mumbai metropolis and 23 people died, taking the number of infected to 2,64,545 and the number of dead to 10,445. During the day 185 cases were reported in Nashik, 216 in Pune, 111 in Pimpri Chinchwad, 104 in Aurangabad, and 378 in Nagpur.
